Interventional Cardiologist
Dr. Babu Jasti joined CIS in 2017 as an interventional cardiologist in Zachary.
He earned his doctorate from Kasturba Medical College in Mangalore, India. He studied orthopedics, and then continued his education in internal medicine and cardiology at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. There, he served as both resident and chief resident, earning awards for best intern and best resident.
Dr. Jasti was an interventional cardiology fellow at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he also served as an assistant professor of medicine.
Dr. Jasti is a member of the American College of Cardiology, the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions, and the American Society of Echocardiography. His research has been published in the American Journal of Cardiology and the Journal of Invasive Cardiology. He has also presented abstracts at conferences for the American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association.
